A Magical Evening with Savina Giannatou and Kostas Gregorea at the Botanical Garden of Kefalonia

On Saturday, July 27th, in the crowded theatre of the Botanical Garden of Kefalonia, we had the opportunity to enjoy a unique evening with Savina Giannatou and Kostas Gregorea.

After 16 years, we welcomed again the great performer with the special, rare voice. In 2008 she had sung with the Orchestra of Chromes, while this year we had the opportunity to enjoy her with the guitar of Kostas Gregorea, one of the most important Greek virtuoso guitarists of our time.

Together, in a duet with a unified approach for classical guitar and voice, they took us on a journey around the world with music of different peoples and idioms, in different languages and with pieces for solo guitar.

We listened to songs from Southern Italy, Armenia, Lebanon, Corsica, Sardinia, as well as songs by Manos Hadjidakis, Lena Platonos and Nikos Kypourgos.

The evening was indeed magical!
